A simple meditatively repetitive poem -- a mantra. I love that you decided to do it a capella, with no accompaniment other than the sound of rain or wind (real? or a sound effect?) in the background. I, too, record these kinds of things on a regular basis on the recorder on my phone, and share them with no one. Just sounds, sometimes, or words or phrases, like this poem, that have a meaning so deep and so resonant that we can repeat the words all day and still not really understand them. On my site, there is one poem of this type, called "The Undertaker" ... which, weirdly, is one of the poems that people have commented the most about.
Thank you. It’s the sound of the Atlantic Ocean. I recorded while walking along the beach in Cape Breton, which is where we are! I thought the crashing waves offered a kind of rhythm to the chant.

Well, that was short and sweet.
