Ahh, here you are at your most Dylanesque! Intentionally so? As with Dylan, many of the lyrics are transcendent, but you have mixed in a few "clunkers" as well (or anyway less transcendent). I like the middle verses more than the beginning and ending ones, but overall, this is a great song! It feels like you're having a good time writing these songs!
Right again! I had something Dylanesque in mind for sure. Maybe not in words but certainly in spirit. I’m reassured that comes more or less across. Can’t help a few ‘clunkers’ (even Dylan had some occasionally). Maybe they make the other lines shine a bit brighter?
