Was this remark made coincident with Larry David's final show? Are you a Larry David fan? It doesn't appear that you have ever posted about him on this site.
Personally, I find him very funny, although at times perhaps a tad too irreverent.
Never watched his show, at least not any episode in its entirety. I find him whiny and annoying. I'm currently reading the Best of SJ Perelman. I find his writing to be the quintessence of smart/funny.
Love SJP! It goes without saying that the Marx Brothers occupy the highest heights in "Kelp Heaven". As you undoubtedly know, SJP wrote the scripts for a couple of their most famous films.
