Zen

I heard a Buddhist

       once give a talk about Zen;

not a word of truth.

Interesting to read this poem after your previous post. It leads me to believe that the line
"not a word of truth" actually means "every word is truth" ... which may be what you were intimating in any case.

The line refers to the idea that words are representations and at best can only approximate the essence of Zen and usually misrepresent the essence of it. Only in silence (meditation) can one truly begin to ‘understand’ what it’s really about.
